Mrs. Pérez Surillo serves as Group Head for Puerto Rico and the Caribbean, leading Evertec’s commercial operations, growth strategy, and client relationships across the region. She is responsible for driving business development, operational execution, and customer engagement at Evertec’s headquarters and throughout the Caribbean.
Since joining Evertec in 2011, Paola has held executive roles spanning internal audit, business operations and risks, and talent management. Her broad experience across functions has been instrumental in advancing Evertec’s market leadership and operational excellence in the region.
Before joining Evertec, Paola worked at Chartis (now AIG) as External Reporting Manager for the Latin America region and at PwC as a Senior Auditor.
Paola holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Fairfield University and is a Certified Public Accountant. She serves on the Boards of Directors of Lectores para el Futuro and Caras con Causa, both nonprofit organizations. In addition, Paola serves on the Board of Directors of Cardnet, where she chairs the Compensation and Talent Management Committee on behalf of Evertec.
