Mr. Rodríguez serves as Chief Legal & Administrative Officer of Evertec, where he oversees the company’s legal, compliance, risk, and information security functions. He is responsible for guiding Evertec’s corporate legal strategy, ensuring strong governance practices, and supporting the company’s risk management and cybersecurity framework across all regions.
Luis joined Evertec in 2015 after a career in law and finance that spanned more than a decade. Before joining the company, he served as Executive Director at J.P. Morgan in New York, where he advised on complex transactions, regulatory compliance, and cross-border matters. Earlier in his career, he held leadership roles as Vice President in the Distressed Products Group at Deutsche Bank, Associate at Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP, and Assistant Secretary at the Department of Economic Development and Commerce of Puerto Rico.
He holds a bachelor’s degree from Princeton University and a Juris Doctor from Stanford Law School.
