Mr. Viglianco serves as Chief Information Officer of Evertec, responsible for the company’s technology strategy, digital transformation, and information systems operations across Latin America and the Caribbean. He leads efforts to modernize Evertec’s platforms and infrastructure, strengthen cybersecurity, and accelerate innovation to support growth in payments and technology services.
Diego joined Evertec in 2021, bringing more than 30 years of experience in technology, operations, and payments. Before joining the company, he served as Chief Executive Officer of Interbanking S.A., a leading digital financial ACH and real-time payments provider in Argentina. Earlier in his career, he held senior leadership roles at Prisma Medios de Pago in Argentina; Mastercard in Argentina and Miami, Florida; and PROSA (Promoción y Operación S.A. de C.V.) in Mexico, driving operational performance and digital solutions for financial institutions and merchants.
Diego holds a degree in Engineering from Universidad del Salvador in Argentina and an MBA in Economics and Business Administration from Universidad ESEADE in Argentina.
